Writing Contest

Submissions are now closed for Nuff Said Publishing’s annual Speculative Writing Contest to Promote Diversity (SWCPD).

Entry period begins on August 24, 2016, and ends on January 3rd, 2017.

Due to the upcoming holidays, winners will be announced January 25th.

Your story will be judged by professional writers and English instructors.

Judges are looking for originality of characters, story, and world building. Another aspect which will make your story stand out is a diversity of characters and/or societal issues within the larger scheme of a speculative plot line.

The contest is open to US residents, but may expand internationally.

If your story falls within the realm of science fiction or fantasy literature, is less than 10,000 words long, and is not previously published (online is okay), use the form below to enter.

One grand prize winner will receive $100 dollars, and a publication of their story in Nuff Said’s upcoming anthology. Your story will be the first of the anthology, and will be featured on the front cover.

Two runner-ups will receive professional editing services for their submitted stories, and an offer of publication in Nuff Said’s upcoming anthology.

Five runner-ups will receive a feature on Nuff Said’s website.
